How much weight can ClingyHook hold?
ClingyHook is rated to safely support up to 30 pounds (13.6 kg), making it strong enough for backpacks, purses, diaper bags, and gym bags. The metal body and spring-gate mechanism are engineered far beyond this rating, but 30 pounds is our recommended everyday safe limit.
Does ClingyHook work on most tables and surfaces?
Yes! ClingyHook is designed to work on most standard indoor and outdoor tables, thanks to its unique “e-shape” design. When the hook lays flat on a table edge, the spring gate creates a natural “e” shape that keeps your bag hanging securely without slipping.
If a table is too thick, ClingyHook switches to hook mode. You simply rotate it and use it like a traditional hook, giving you the flexibility to hang your bag from many other everyday surfaces, including:
